Labor Day and the American Dream: College Isn’t For Everyone

As a believer
I’ve seen a lot of People who work well with their hands and they didn’t need to waste time in a four year college program learning to be well-rounded especially if that’s not important to them. For example, my mechanic has 22 years of experience in fixing cars, and he learned this profession by observing his mentor. And he is making more than a hundred thousand dollars a year. Though, he regrets no going to school because some people treat you with respect according how much education a person has. I think many people go to school because of their surrounding. Take me as an example, I’m a senior in Electrical Engineering department and I do work for an IT company as a Network consultant and got the knowledge from observing my boss. I could of got my degree in computer science but I choose Engineering because my dad wants’ me to graduate from Engineering collage. So, the other people sometimes effect your decision. If my father is not in the picture I would have not went to school.

As a doubter
I can say having a degree hanging on the wall isn’t going to heart anyone. Well in most cases if u don’t have that much load on you and don’t have a family to support, then going to school is your best bit. College will teach you how to form you own reasonable opinions based on facts. Expands your Knowledge and introduces you to a wider range of society. Higher education is the key for self-development. In these days knowledge and skills learned in a university or a collage greatly influence to person’s thinking and acting abilities. For example, learning some kind of sciences like biology or will develop in person strong mind, analytical and research skills. And after graduation student reforms himself as self-determined, smart, and motivated. Breath-taking future career features is another reason to attend University. I believe that going to school and chosen a good major could be good start for the career path. Thus, a lot of students choose their university or college according to their goal to build a good future career.
